Review of Jack Black’s All-Over Wash

The purpose of this post is to tell readers my experience with Jack Black’s product. It is an opinion, so what may have worked / not worked for me may be different for you.

Early this year, I wanted to change shampoo, so I had new content to review. I tried Jack Blank, and I was not a fan of their product, the all-over wash. Their site states the following:

This multipurpose, sulfate-free wash provides a rich lather to eliminate dirt and sweat without stripping skin and hair of essential moisture that keeps them looking healthy. Botanicals leave a fresh scent without being too fragranced or heavy, and pH balanced cleansers are gentle enough for face, hair, and body.

I found this product drying, to the point that I kept scratching my head due to itchiness and dryness from this shampoo. While reading reviews on this item, it was noted that there was no fragrance on this product, and through the above statement, there is clearly some fragrance that I am trying to stay away from. Finally, regarding the statement above, the word heavy sticks out to me. I felt this product was thick and heavy where a little did not go a long way.

It’s infused with rosemary, eucalyptus, and juniper berry, and don’t miss the fact that the aromatherapy benefits are as awakening as the wicked lather and squeaky clean you’ll feel afterward.

This product might be fused with all these ingredients, but sadly, I could not smell them. I am not sure what the fragrance is, but when companies mention lather, I picture a rubbery smell that comes to mind. Sadly, I am going back to my old shampoo. I appreciated the experience, but I am still on the hunt for a good shampoo.
